A real job

Tarped the same visit, replaced after

Storm damage with structural debris across the site and the roof edge open. The roof was tarped to stop further water getting in, then torn off and fully replaced once the claim was settled.

Both photographs are the same job. You can see more of our own storm work on the portfolio.

How we work a storm job

01

Stop the water

Tarping the opening is the first job, before anything else gets decided. Every hour a roof stays open turns a roof claim into a ceiling, insulation and flooring claim.

02

Document it properly

Photographs of the damage, the cause and the interior, taken the way an adjuster needs to see them. Two of our team hold adjuster licences — not to work claims, but so we know exactly what gets scrutinised.

03

Work the claim with you

We meet your adjuster on site, walk the damage with them, and push back with documentation when a scope comes back short of what the policy owes.

04

Rebuild it

Roof, then whatever the water reached on the way down — ceilings, drywall, insulation, trim, flooring and paint. We self-perform all of it, so one company sees it through.

Call us if

  • A tree or limb is on the roof
  • Shingles are gone and decking is showing
  • Water is coming through a ceiling right now
  • Wind has peeled back a section of roof or siding
  • A ceiling is sagging or stained after a storm
  • Your adjuster has been out and the scope looks short

Common questions

How fast can you get a tarp on?

Call (706) 426-1934 and we will tell you honestly when we can be there rather than promising a window we might miss. Our published hours are Monday to Friday 8 to 5 with Saturday by appointment — storm work often falls outside that and we do our best to move on it.

Does tarping cost me anything if I have a claim?

Emergency mitigation is normally covered by your policy, and carriers generally expect you to prevent further damage. We document the tarp work so it can be included in the claim.

Should I call you or my insurance company first?

Stop the water first. Then call your carrier. We can be on site tarping while the claim is being opened, and we would rather you have photographs of the damage before anything gets moved or covered.

What if the adjuster misses damage?

That happens, and it is usually not malice — an adjuster is walking a lot of roofs after a storm. We document what we find, put it in writing, and supplement the claim. Two of our team hold adjuster licences, so we know how the scope is built and where things get left out.

Do you handle the inside as well as the roof?

Yes, and this is where a lot of homeowners get stuck with two contractors. We self-perform drywall, ceilings, insulation, flooring, trim and paint, so the same company that closes the roof puts the inside of the house back together.
