About Kingdom Craft

We're a veteran-owned team here in Augusta, and we built this company because we believed our neighbors deserved better than what we kept seeing.

Our Story

Why We Started This

We didn't start this company alone, and that matters to us. In 2025 the three of us — Chris Etheredge, Alyssa Barnes, and Madlen Jahn— sat down and decided we were going to build the kind of construction company we'd always wanted to work for.

We'd each spent years in roofing and construction. We'd walked hundreds of families through insurance claims, stood in living rooms after storms, and seen what it looks like when someone's home is torn open and they don't know who to call. We loved that work. What we couldn't live with was watching companies we worked for put the number ahead of the person — the arbitrary rules, the corners quietly cut, the “just get it done and move on” that left people alone with a job half-right.

So we stopped complaining about it and built something else. We answer the phone. We show up on the day we said we would. We'd rather tell you something you don't want to hear than sell you something you don't need. And when we get it wrong — because sometimes we will — we come back and we make it right. That is the whole company, honestly. There's no corporate playbook behind it.

We've grown since then. We've got people running our commercial projects and our finances now, crews we trust, and work across Augusta and the CSRA we're genuinely proud to put our name on. But nothing about why we started has changed: every client matters, every detail matters, every home matters.

Our Promise

“Treating your home like our own.”

We say it constantly, and we mean it literally. We buy the materials we'd buy for our own houses. We sweep up before we leave, every day, because you still have to live there while we work. And the test we hold every job to is simple: if we wouldn't want this in our own home, in front of our own families, it doesn't leave here.

The People You'll Actually Deal With

Meet Us

Chris Etheredge

Co-Founder & CEO

Chris Etheredge

Chris was six years old the first time his stepfather Jose put a hammer in his hand on a job site. He didn't pick this trade so much as grow up inside it.

He served in the U.S. Army in 2012, then worked EMS and ran a lawn care business before coming back to roofing. He spent years at a national roofing company walking hundreds of homeowners through insurance claims — plenty of them ending up with a fully covered roof and nothing out of pocket but the deductible. For the families who had no insurance at all, he found another way to get it done.

In 2024 he and Madlen both got their adjuster licenses. Not to work claims — to understand from the inside exactly how they get evaluated, approved and paid, so we'd never again be the ones guessing on your behalf. A year later he got the three of us in a room and we started this.

Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer

Alyssa Barnes

Alyssa is one of the three of us who started this, and she's the reason the company sounds and feels the way it does. Her title says marketing. That undersells what she actually does around here.

She's in the field and on the phone with homeowners from the first conversation all the way through the last walkthrough. Every estimate we send and every follow-up we make goes out the way it does because she holds the line on it.

When we decided to build something of our own, she's the one who shaped what it would actually feel like to be our client.

Madlen Jahn

Co-Founder & Chief Sales Officer

Madlen Jahn

Madlen co-founded this with us and leads our sales. For most people she's the first voice they hear from Kingdom Craft, and she carries that seriously — from the first phone call to a signed contract, she's building a real relationship, not working a lead.

She earned her adjuster license alongside Chris in 2024, so when she walks you through a claim she isn't reading you a script — she knows how the other side of the table actually thinks, and she'll make sure you understand your options and get what your policy genuinely owes you.

Her approach is simple, and it's the one we all try to hold to: listen first, explain everything, never push. We think that's why people call her back.

Chief Financial Officer

Vivianne Fuentes

Vivianne runs our finances — budgets, payroll, and keeping every project honest against its own numbers. She's the reason our crews get paid on time and our clients get straight answers about money.

None of the work you see on this site happens without somebody minding that side of the house. She minds it, so the rest of us can build.

Commercial Project Manager

Jose Fuentes

Jose is the backbone of everything we do in the field, and he was doing this long before any of us. He's the one who handed Chris that first hammer and taught him what good work looks like up close — which means a lot of what we believe about craftsmanship, we learned from him.

He runs our commercial and large-scale projects now — crews, sequencing, timelines, the whole thing. Residential, commercial, and everything in between. When Jose is on a job, we don't worry about that job.
